What happens in this clip (spoiler)

Show the hazard and the clues

At night, in the rain, a person in dark clothes walks along the pavement under a street light and then steps into the darker gap between lights to cross. The hazard develops as they step off the kerb. Drive at a speed that lets you stop within the distance you can see to be clear.

  • Pedestrian crosses in the dark – scoring window from 14.4s to 19.4s (5 points in the first second, then 4, 3, 2, 1)

How this clip is scored

Like the real test, each developing hazard has a scoring window split into five parts. Respond early in the window for 5 points; later responses score less, and responses before or after the window score 0. Clicking constantly or in a pattern scores 0 for the whole clip.
