Disclaimer
MockTheory is an independent practice website. It is not an official government service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the DVSA, the DVA or GOV.UK. Last updated: 3 October 2026.
Not an official website
MockTheory (mocktheory.uk) is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA), the Driver & Vehicle Agency (DVA) in Northern Ireland, the Department for Transport, the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) or GOV.UK. Any mention of these organisations is only to give accurate information or to link to official services.
Original practice questions
All questions on MockTheory are original practice questions based on The Highway Code. They are not the real test questions, and they are not taken from the DVSA's official revision question bank or from any other revision product. They are written to cover the same topics as the real test, using the rules in The Highway Code and Know your traffic signs.
Our hazard perception clips are original animations made by MockTheory. They are not DVSA clips. They follow the published scoring rules for the real test as closely as we can, but our scoring, including how we detect clicking patterns, is an approximation and may differ from the real test.

Accuracy
We work hard to keep everything accurate and up to date, and we check our content against The Highway Code and official guidance. But rules, fees and test formats change, and mistakes can happen. We can't guarantee that every page is complete, correct or current at all times. Always check the latest official information on GOV.UK or nidirect before your test. If you spot an error, please let us know.
No guarantee of passing
Practising on MockTheory can help you prepare, but a good score here doesn't guarantee you'll pass your theory test, hazard perception test or driving test. Your result depends on your own knowledge and performance on the day.
Booking your test
MockTheory doesn't book tests and doesn't sell bookings. Book your theory test only through the official service on GOV.UK or, in Northern Ireland, through nidirect.
Not professional advice
Our content is general information to help you revise. It isn't legal advice. For questions about your own licence, eligibility or medical conditions, contact the DVLA, DVSA or DVA directly.
Adverts and external links
MockTheory shows adverts provided by Google AdSense. Adverts are not endorsements, and we don't control which ads appear. We also link to external websites for your convenience; we're not responsible for their content.
Limitation of liability
MockTheory is provided free of charge and "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content. Nothing in this disclaimer limits any liability that cannot be limited under the law of England and Wales.
