What happens in this clip (spoiler)
Show the hazard and the clues
The cyclist ahead looks over their shoulder and there is a parked van in their path - both clues that they will move out. The hazard develops as they pull out towards the centre of the road. Hang back and give them plenty of room (at least 1.5 metres when you pass).
- Cyclist moves out round a parked van – scoring window from 13s to 18s (5 points in the first second, then 4, 3, 2, 1)
How this clip is scored
Like the real test, each developing hazard has a scoring window split into five parts. Respond early in the window for 5 points; later responses score less, and responses before or after the window score 0. Clicking constantly or in a pattern scores 0 for the whole clip.
